ISLS, The Institute for Spanish Language Studies, is a world leader in Youth Spanish Immersion Programs. Over the past 18 years ISLS has worked with thousands of students, parents, families and high school administrators to set up unique educational summer programs. Each of our Teen Spanish Programs is designed to combine the learning of the language with fun, adventurous, educational and culturally significant activities.

For the summer of 2010, we are offering an exciting and diverse selection of options and locations. We have ISLS owned and operated programs in Costa Rica and we also offer Spanish immersion programs in Spain through our affiliated partner schools in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid, Castila), San Sebastian (coastal Basque Country), Puerto de Santa Maria (Cadiz, coastal Andalusia), and Sevilla (inland Andalusia).

Our signature Teen Spanish and Surf Camp, offered in Playa Dominical, Costa Rica, is still the only one of its type in Latin America. Our Teen Spanish and Volunteer Camp in Turrialba, Costa Rica, is a true immersion and service program. Our Teen Spanish and Adventure Camp in Costa Rica, combines immersion Spanish with exciting and adventurous activities just about every day of the week. For our younger students we have the Spanish, Art and Sports Camp in Playa Tamarindo.

Combine Camps! All three of our Teen Camps in Costa Rica are designed for students to be able to mix and match. Also, with our Weekly Student Blocks, students can attend a camp from one week up to six or they can attend two or three of them. Our start dates are every Sunday for six weeks during the middle of the summer.

Super Early Sign-Up & Early Sign-Up Discounts! If you sign up before November 1, 2009 you will receive the Super Early Sign-Up Discount. This is $200/week off any Teen Camp or $100/week off our Children’s Camp. If you sign up before January 1st 2010 you will receive the Early Sign-Up Discount. This is $100/week off any of our Teen Camps and $50/week off our Children’s Camp. Only students who sign up for the program and pay their deposit before the above mentioned dates will be eligible.

We also offer Spanish Immersion programs for adults in Costa Rica, other Latin American Countries and Spain. We have adult Spanish language programs in every one of our Teen Camp locations in Costa Rica and Spain. We also have Spanish immersion centers in 7 other countries and 43 destinations.
