The following is a condensed version of the weekly itinerary for the ISLS Teen Spanish & Surf Camp in Playa Dominical, Costa Rica. If you would like a more detailed and descriptive version, please contact us.

Sunday

	WELCOME! Students are met upon arrival in San Jose and are taken to a local hotel. Transport to Playa Dominical! Students will be taken to a local resort hotel. Welcome to Arenal Meeting.

Saturday

	Weekend Tour, Day 1 – There are five different 2 day weekend tours; Corcovado National Park/Cano Island (June 27th & 28th), Two Day Rafting Trip on Rio Pacuare (July 4th & 5th), Cloud Forest Adventure Trip (July 11th & 12th), Tortuguero Turtle Conservation & Jungle Canal Tour (July 18th & 19th) and Turrialba Discovery Experience (July 25th & 26th).

Sunday

	Weekend Tour, Day 2 – Students returning to Playa Dominical to continue with the Surf program will be transported back to their hotel by private coach. Students transferring to our other teen camps will be transported to their new destination by private coach. Those students who are completing their programs will be transferred back to San Jose by private coach and check into a hotel near the airport. Farwell to Costa Rica Dinner (departing students only)

Monday (departing students only)

	Students will be transported to the airport as their flight times dictate. A staff member will drive with them to the airport and see that they get checked into their flight and through to the correct gate. As students will be flying out at different times throughout day, there will also be a staff member remaining at the hotel. If students fly out in the afternoon or evening, they will receive lunch.

Additional Infomation

Upon arrival in San Jose, students will be met at the airport by the program’s counselors and transported to a hotel nearby. Here students will have the ability to swim & relax before being taken to Playa Dominical by private coach. There will be food & drink available along with access to restrooms & the internet.

Students must arrive in San Jose no later than 1pm on the given start date. If a student is unable to arrive on the start date before 1pm, there is a Saturday pick up option available for an additional fee. There are a number of different beaches were will be surfing as a part of this program. Above we have noted when the Surf lessons will take place, but not the specific beach or time. Surf times and beach selection will depend on the tides as well as surf conditions. Each of the 5 weekly Camp sessions has a different weekend adventure tour. A schedule and description of all weekend tours is available as well.

All activities are scheduled for the dates and times listed, but are subject to change due to weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. In case of a tour or activity being changed, we will do our best to reschedule. If a tour or activity must be cancelled and cannot be made up, there will be no refund.
